It’s 3:48 on January 31, 2018, and to no one’s surprise I’m at work. I feel as if though I should be a little more tired than I really am at this moment because I’ve had the worst sleeping pattern. I’ve been going to sleep at 2 or 3AM, waking up at 6 or 7AM and then falling asleep for 3 or 4 hours after that. UGH.
To make matters worse I’ve been trying to make changes to my overall diet and lifestyle. Let me update you on how that’s been. I started about 3 weeks ago or so and I’ve only been to the gym 3 times (I was supposed to be going every day LOL). I have increased my water intake and reduced my soda and coffee intake SOOOOO MUCH. No lie, I honestly thought that out of those two things alone, I would of lost all my weight by now. Instead, I gained about 2 pounds. How can I not though? I have no physical activity and I am decreasing the amount of things that I eat. You have to increase physical activity and decrease the carb intake. Correct? I could be wrong, it sounds right.
What I do know is this: I am making changes. Slowly but surely. You guys have no idea how hard it was for me to leave sodas and coffee the way I have. Starbucks coffee and sodas on the daily were truly taking a toll on me. I definitely pig out from time to time, but not on a daily basis as I used to. I have decided that with the Youtube videos I plan on posting soon, I’ll be documenting these struggles and more.
For now, I’ll stick to my water and my slow pace. After all, slow and steady wins the race.
